Are you prioritising your own goals?
I’m guilty of this!
When I first started my fitness journey I really wanted a bendy back, I worked consistently at this, and I got it!
I’d say for the past 2/2.5 years I’ve really wanted my splits.
I nearly got touched down on one side, but then really injured my hamstring and couldn’t even squat for about 2/3 months, and just sort of gave up the dream since.
As a flexibility coach I know what I need to do, to achieve my splits. Or atleast improve my lower body flexibility.
But this is one of my own goals that always ends up at the bottom of the pile.
In the past few weeks I’ve started doing reformer pilates which is helping with my flexibility training, and I’m going to make sure I stretch myself 2/3 times a week!
