Anyone else love the new year?
I feel like everyone goes into the new year so motivated and determined after setting new goals and intentions for the year ahead!
But how do you keep it up?
It’s easy when you first start the new year for motivation to be high, however, it is normal for this motivation to dwindle in and out! And therefore we lose track of the goals that we set!
So how can we avoid this happening?
Unfortunately, motivation isn’t always going to be around. So we cannot solely rely on just our motivation to carry us through! What we do have to have is some determination!
Determination to not give up.
Determination to push through any obstacles we face.
Determination to keep showing up every single day.
Determination to know that small steps towards our goals, are still steps.
You need to remember that you set the goals that you set yourself for a reason. You set them because they were important to you and you most likely wanted to make some change in the new year.
Whether it takes you one month, 6 months or the full year to achieve that goal. If you keep showing up in whatever way you can, every single day, you will achieve it.
So remember that to help on the days that your motivation is low!
