ABOUT CASEY J FITNESS
MY STORY
I worked within the health and social care setting since being 16, (so nearly 10 years) as first a cleaner in a care home, then a care assistant and then going on to graduate and work as an adult nurse. As you can tell I’ve always had a real passion for helping people!
If you follow me on social media, you’ll see that I’m very open and honest about suffering with eating disorders since being a young child. I first developed anorexia when I was in primary school and then went on to develop bulimia. I spent many of my adolescent years with an extremely bad relationship with food and exercise. Once I was in my recovery from my eating disorders, I spent years obsessing- over not wanting to obsess about my food. Therefore, eating whatever I wanted – still having disordered eating and putting on a lot of weight. I yet again found myself so unhappy with my body and just could not develop a ‘healthy’ relationship with food.
I decided that enough was enough, I no longer wanted to be unhappy and I wanted to take control back. As I wasn’t that clued up on what to do within the gym I would just spend hours on cardio equipment feeling a little lost. I decided to sign up to pole fitness classes in 2017 and I absolutely loved them – I was having the most fun whilst still exercising. I was initially only doing 1 class a week but within the next 8 months I built this up to doing 2x classes a week, 2 x flexibility classes a week and then eventually started doing 1 private class a week as well. It was within one of these private classes that I was really struggling with energy and felt like I was regressing rather than progressing. After discussion with my instructor, I realised my diet was poor and I wasn’t fuelling my body correctly. It was then that I made the decision to get an online coach and Personal Trainer, and this was possibly the best decision I could of made for myself and my own personal journey. I learned that food and exercise shouldn’t be used as a punishment but a way to fuel your body with all the amazing nutrients it needs to survive.

I learned that food and exercise shouldn’t be used as a punishment but a way to fuel your body with all the amazing nutrients it needs to survive.
And this is when I began my own business journey…I wanted to help, support and empower other women, exactly like I had been! I had finally fallen in love with taking care of my body rather than punishing it, which is what I spent much of my life doing. When I say that I have experienced both ends of the spectrum, trust me I really have and I know how it feels to be unhappy.
I should have been competing in my first ‘bikini competition’ in July 2020. But like with many other things, Covid had a different idea and put a stop to this. I still completed the prep for this as I wanted to see the process through and completed a showcase video instead in my home so that I had a comparison for when I decide to step on stage for real.
Instead of focusing on bikini competitions and prep the last 2 years I have put my heart and soul into creating my business into what it is today! I set up Casey J Fitness in August 2020 and left my nursing career behind me. This was the best decision I could have made. I absolutely love helping all of my wonderful clients fall in love with the process and there really is no better feeling than seeing how they grow from strength to strength each and every week.
I very much take a holistic approach with my clients. Focusing on not just their physical health but also their mental health. Mental health is something which a lot of people are affected by which is why it’s so important to me that I support my clients with their mental health as well as their physical health.
I have also within the past 12 months qualified as and now work as a pole fitness instructor at the same studio I started at in 2017. The Pole and Shape Academy in Oldham. I thrive to keep improving my knowledge and skill set so that I can give the best service to all of my clients. I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to learning, especially when it is about subjects I am so passionate about.
I absolutely believe that all my clients can achieve anything that they set their mind to. With me there to support them the world really is their oyster!

HEY QUEEN
HEAR FROM CASEY'S CLIENTS
“PT with Casey = (P)erfect (T)eam! I love my sessions with Casey! Why? Casey inspires me beyond our PT. She’s honest and real! If you’re having a bad day, don’t worry, Casey has got you! She’ll reassure you that it’s ok. Whatever it is, it’s ok. Talk to her, let it out, then work it out! My favourite part of my sessions is how much I learn about me. How proud I am of me. I got this! Without realising it, Casey has pushed me more than you’ll ever give yourself credit for. You’ll look back one day at where you started and think wow, how did she do that? But that’s the beauty, you’re not forced, shouted at or made to feel uncomfortable. You’re praised, cheer on and motivated the entire time! They say time flies when you’re having fun, and it sure does! (Unless your last 5 minutes is on the ski! Then that’ll feel like death!)”

“I can’t recommend Casey enough! She is the most motivating PT that I have worked with and always understands that there are struggles and hard times but motivates you to push past them to reach your goals! Training sessions are always challenging and make you feel amazing once they are done! I feel so much more confident within myself and can’t wait to see more results!”
